Some of the disputes might not be resolved until after the Nov. read more. Gloves off as Stuart launches salvosAUSTRALIA coach Ricky Stuart has added some fire to an otherwise quiet build-up to the Tri-Nations opener, ridiculing suggestions from New Zealand counterpart Brian McClennan that his side could not be judged on its poor showings this year due to the number of key personnel who were unavailable. Speaking before the team's final training run for tonight's Test at Mt Smart Stadium, an intense Stuart also dismissed claims the Kiwis had more improvement in them then both the Australian and Britain sides. Stuart also backed skipper Darren Lockyer to continue his dominant form. Breaking from the "softly, softly" approach taken by both camps this week following the war of words which preceded the Anzac Test in Brisbane in May, Stuart was typically short and direct when asked for a response to McClennan's call for people to disregard the 50-12 romp at Suncorp Stadium, when the Kiwis were without most of their English-based players as well as inspirational skipper Ruben Wiki. read more.
